Rabbi Avraham Wein
Rabbi Avraham Wein teaches Gemara and Tanach. A native of Queens, NY, Rabbi Wein studied at Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush) and earned his B.A. in Psychology and Jewish Studies from YU as part of the Honors Program. He received Semicha as a member of the RIETS Honors Program and is also a graduate of the RIETS/Ferkauf Joint Program in Mental Health Counseling. Rabbi Wein holds an M.A. in Medieval Jewish History from the Bernard Revel Graduate School. He is a longtime student of Rabbi Michael Rosensweig and was his shiur assistant for numerous years. Rabbi Wein is the Assistant Rabbi at Congregation Keter Torah and previously served as Rabbinic Assistant at Congregation Beth Sholom in Lawrence, NY. He and his wife Shira are the proud parents of two children.
