Mrs. Sharon Milch

Sharon Milch joins the English department at TABC, bringing with her many years of experience. She received the New Jersey Governor’s Teacher Award, Union College’s Outstanding High School Teacher Award, and River Dell High School’s Distinguished Graduate Award. In addition, The College of New Jersey named Ms. Milch a semi-finalist Teacher of Excellence. A lifelong learner, Ms. Milch is a familiar presence at The Dodge Foundation’s “Clearing the Spring” poetry workshops and at The Taft School’s Teachers’ Center in Watertown, Connecticut, where she has taken Advanced Placement courses, Bard’s Teaching and Writing Institute, and college counseling workshops. For fifteen years, the Bergen County Playwrights’ Festival produced plays written by her students. Ms. Milch has a BA in English from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) and an MA in Human Development from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
