Rabbi Joshua Kahn
Rabbi Joshua Kahn is TABC's Rosh Yeshiva. As part of our stellar administrative team, Rabbi Kahn plays a critical role in many elements of TABC’s strategic planning and institutional advancement, including admissions and recruitment, fundraising, and alumni relations, and is being deeply invested in the student experience, from Limudei Kodesh to student activities. Prior to his appointment as Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Kahn served as the Head of School at Yeshiva University High School for Boys (MTA) where he led the school through a period of immense growth with increased enrollment, fundraising activity, and alumni engagement. He began his career at TABC as a rebbe and then as the inaugural Director of Student Activities, a department he created and developed. He then served as Dean of Student Life, overseeing all co-curricular activities with a keen focus on the overall student experience before assuming the role of Associate Principal for Judaic Studies, where he managed the day-to-day of TABC’s Limudei Kodesh program. Rabbi Kahn instituted many new initiatives that remain key elements of the TABC experience today, including Night Seder, chesed trips, Tikkun Leil Shavuot, and other community-based and school-wide programs. Rabbi Kahn’s commitment to collaborating with all stakeholders and the strong emphasis he places on partnership are vital assets to our yeshiva. He brings his trademark warmth, expertise, and single-minded pursuit of excellence to all aspects of TABC’s legendary academics, student life, and culture.
