Rabbi Michael Hoenig
As Mashgiach Ruchani, Rabbi Michael Hoenig's primary focus is on the spiritual and emotional welfare of TABC's talmidim. Known for his dedication to developing long term and meaningful relationships, Rabbi Hoenig is a spiritual touchstone for TABC's students throughout the four years of high school and beyond. In addition, Rabbi Hoenig teaches Gemara and Chumash, as well as a junior year elective on the tenets and foundations of Judaism. Rabbi Hoenig served as the educational director for NCSY's teen tour in Israel for public school students for six summers. He is a sought-after speaker at yeshivot and shuls across the tristate area as well as many of the yeshivot in Israel that TABC alumni attend. He grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey. After studying for a year and a half at Mevaseret Tzion, he received a BA in Economics from Queens College, semicha from Yeshiva University's Rav Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS), and an MA in Jewish Education from Azrieli. He and his wife Ayelet (Kastner) reside in Fair Lawn with their five children.
