Mr. Zachary Ottenstein

Mr. Zachary Ottenstein ‘17 is a proud TABC alumnus who is glad to be back “home” teaching World and US History to students in 9th and 10th grades. After his time at TABC, he spent two years learning at Yeshivat Eretz Hatzvi before attending Yeshiva University where he learned in the Mazer Yeshiva Program under the tutelage of Rabbi Jeremy Weider and Rav Baruch Simon while completing his degree in History and Judaic Studies. During his time at YU, Mr. Ottenstein volunteered with the Anti-Defamation League and was published extensively in the YU History Journal. Mr. Ottenstein is currently working on his master’s in the Teaching of Social Studies at Teachers College, Columbia University, where he is further honing his skills in pedagogy and curriculum development. In his spare time Mr. Ottenstein enjoys reading, basketball, going to museums, and playing with his dog, Dylan.
